At Versailles, free time to visit the State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors,...) and stroll around the palace entrance. Versailles is more than a Palace surrounde with beautiful gardens. It also has a huge park where one can discover two small castles named named Grand and Petit Trianons. Enjoy a tape recorded presentation on the way to the castle and then a non-guided visit to the State apartments and gardens (note: in summer April-October, additional entrance fees of around 3 € for visiting the gardens should be paid locally). |
